"For whatever we lose (like a you or a me) it's always ourselves we find in the sea."
~ E.E. Cummings
inspiration
I’m drawn to capturing the abstract, fleeting qualities of light and movement through the still medium of photography. The natural world - the ocean in particular - is a constant source of inspiration. Its shifting light, rhythms, and ever-changing conditions offer endless possibilities for exploration.
My earlier career in ballet shaped the way I now see movement, rhythm, line, form, and composition through my camera lens. Whether at home in California or traveling the world, I’m continually moved by nature’s beauty and state of impermanence - a reflection of our own transient existence.
